Frequently Asked Questions

Can I trial the software before signing up?

Yes. We recognise that although Shine can be up and running within minutes, you may want to try out the platform for yourself and get buy in from your stakeholders.

What payment methods do you accept?

Subscriptions can be paid by invoice, standing order or all major credit and debit cards.

How do I know what my Return on Investment is?

It is easy to see the benefits that Shine can provide during the interview process, but we understand that you need to be able to demonstrate a return on your investment.

Typically, without video interviewing, 8 out of 10 first round face to face or telephone interviews are with candidates who are not suitable. There are a number of reasons for this, but an experienced hiring manager will be able to identify that a candidate is unsuitable pretty quickly.

Taking an average of 10 candidates needed at first round stage to fill 1 role, 2 interviewers and an average of 1.5 hours per interview including review and feedback, that’s 30 man hours!

The cost per hour for managers performing this process might be around £25, not including lost productivity, which would be £750 per role.

Recorded videos can be reviewed in a fraction of the time and cost and with much greater flexibility.

That doesn’t include the massive cost of making a bad hire, which this process is designed to help avoid!
