Meet the team: Laura Anderson, Client Success Manager

I have worked within Account Management for software organisations for the past 10 years and would like to think of myself as seasoned within this remit. I have had the pleasure of dealing with many clients; big and small throughout this time and travelled the length and breadth of Europe doing so.

I have always taken a huge amount of pleasure in ensuring that clients receive the very best level of service possible from the supplier that they choose to engage with. In my view, as an account manager, you can only deliver the very best possible service if you truly believe in the products and solutions that your organisation provides. I have been fortunate enough to always have this in my career, and again, this was a huge influence on my decision to join Shine Interview in January 2018.

When I first met with the company owner, David, his passion for the product and vision for the company was infectious and when I received my first product demonstration, I knew how much of a difference this would make to clients and their recruitment aspirations. Between that day and this, I have endeavoured to immerse myself within the world of recruitment, and our clients’ organisations to ensure that the solutions that we provide are not just fit for purpose but are making a huge difference to recruiters and candidates alike on a daily basis.

The key point here is that the solutions that we provide are for our clients, but for the clients themselves the solution needs to be robust, powerful and engaging for the candidates themselves. By clients embracing and introducing video interviewing, they are demonstrating to either candidates that their recruitment process is visionary, seamless and – above all – a great candidate experience. Knowing that we do this, and that we do it extremely well, gives me great job satisfaction.


It’s not just the video interviewing platform that our clients love; we also offer values-based recruitment technology, an event scheduler and so many more features on the roadmap over the next couple of months!

Since joining Shine, I have loved working closely with our current client base – providing support and recommendations around the technology and service, and what fills me with a huge amount of satisfaction is that Shine is becoming more and more recognised as the go-to video interview platform for recruitment. But in order to do that, and continue to do it, we must ensure that we are providing the very best customer service and account management. This starts with me – I’ve loved it so far, and long may that continue!
